Gingerbread Fun!

We are knee deep in gingerbread books! We read many classic tales of the gingerbread man last week, and are reading some modern versions this week.  Ask your child to tell you about the stories that we read each day.  They are making some great connections!

Here are just a few pictures of some of the children hard at work at literacy centers last week!

They love working at the IWB!  Here the children were working with the sight word “see” and number words.

Each week we have a book to listen too! This week they were listening to The Gingerbread Man Loose at School!

  1. Mrs. Pedersen, We really appreciate all you do with the kids in the classroom, particularly the use of technology and songs. I know I remember a lot of songs from my childhood so I know that Libby will long recall many from this year! Thanks!
